Carol Lombard is a phenomenal educator and a fantastic pillar of support for a piano student at any stage in their musical development. In my own experience, I had been playing for fourteen years before coming to take lessons from her. From the moment I met her, I found Carol to be attentive, kind, caring, and very considerate regarding my requests and desires for my impending musical education and goals. She was incredibly detail oriented and composed an entire curriculum and plan for my advancement and interests.

Everything that Carol had placed in front of me to learn was different from the last and broadened my horizons considerably, as well as introducing me to new pieces of music to make me a more well rounded player. As for her teaching style, the pure positivity and constructiveness that she places into her comments make for a very enjoyable and productive lesson. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities and efforts are praised just the same as playing something flawlessly.

In conclusion, Carol Lombard is a fantastic teacher and more than qualified to not only educate an individual in music, but help expose them to all kinds of music in such a way that will make them want to learn more.

I want to let you know how much we appreciate you taking on our daughter as a student even though it was only for a brief time before college.

You are so good at giving very gentle, detailed suggestions to her of ways to improve her playing. You are also generous with praise and it's obvious you love to teach piano. We feel very fortunate that our paths have crossed with yours. You go above and beyond many other teachers we have encountered.
